After a lavish buffet breakfast between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., guests can enjoy delicious Viennese specialties and tidbits together with popular coffee variations such as Wiener Melange (coffee & milk blend), Pharisäer (the Austrian-style Irish Coffee) or Maria Theresia (black coffee with orange liqueur and whipped cream) as well as the home-made Imperial Torte until 11:00 p.m. At Café Imperial Wien the guest is king. Individual wishes are fulfilled any time and always with great pleasure.
Even more famous than the many great minds, writers, musicians, artists and tycoons that have been guests at the café on famous Ring Boulevard since its opening on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition in 1873, is our Original Wiener Schnitzel! Golden yellow, fried in butter oil, it is served with mixed salad, cranberries and parsley potatoes. And those with a sweet tooth give our home-made pastries a try…

The Lower-Austrian from the Weinviertel region has a penchant for desserts, pastries and above all chocolate by tradition.
The lively Chef-Patissière of Café Imperial Wien always tastes her regionally and seasonally inspired creations herself, continuing the Viennese pastry and dessert tradition with great respect and finesse.
The sweet artworks of the passionate perfectionist are never too beautiful to taste – as they are made to enjoy, after all. How about a taste?
